I am going to be applying to CRNA programs soon. I would like to get some input on my stats and what I could do to make myself stand out since my cumlative gpa is low.
I have over 250 credit hours so taking more class to bring up my gpa a lot is nearly impossible. I have already did the calculations :)
-last 60 credit hours- 3.8
-First degree: BS Biology; Second Degree: AS Nursing; Third degree: BS Nursing
-Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CCRN
-Experience: 3 years ER nurse-prn now; 1 year ICU nurse (I am offically assigned to MICU but at my hospital we have 5 ICUs (MICU, CICU, SICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU) and you are floated between them all the time except CVICU. So i would consider myself having mixed ICU experience)
-Shawdowed for 16 hours
Thanks for your input and critique :)
